Renson Lawyers is seeking a motivated law student to join our Homebush based firm as a law clerk.
The position is for someone wanting to volunteer to obtain experience and could potentially lead to a paid position with the firm, depending on the individuals performance.
We are seeking someone who is driven, eager to learn and is also interested in the practice areas of our firm (to name a few- business, commercial, property sales and acquisitions, leasing, probate, building, employment law).
The successful applicant is to also have professional manners, reasonable drafting skills and the ability to multitask. Drivers licence is also preferred.
The successful applicant will gain valuable experience and exposure assisting the Principal Solicitor.
Some of the tasks that the law clerk will be expected to undertake are:
- answering incoming calls
- drafting letters
- reviewing and analysing documents
- file management
- legal research
- manage enquiries
- liaising with client's and other industry professionals
