Maintenance Electrician, rotating 12hr shift DDNN, permanent salaried position located in western Sydney

Your new company
Hays are working with a specialist supplier and manufacturer of automated handling systems. They have the opportunity for a Maintenance Electrician to join their team where you will be required to work across their 2 sites in Western Sydney. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly driven, fault finding expert who enjoys a hand's on autonomous role working with the latest automated equipment in across state of the art facilities.

Your new role
In your new job as a Maintenance Electrician, our client requires you to have extensive experience working with highly automated and robotic systems,

keeping all performance rates up to a maximum through excellent fault-finding and problem solving skills.

- You will be required to provide technical support across the latest equipment, fault-finding on breakdowns, assisting on projects/shutdowns and across preventative maintenance.
- You will be required to work in a highly autonomous manner, completing all allocated task by the scheduled dates.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have extensive hands on experience rectifying faults fixing, carrying out maintenance and modifying highly automated and robotic equipment, gear boxes and drives.

- You hold at minimum a full Electrical Licence.
- Post trade certificates in pneumatics or hydraulics (strong mechanical experience) is desirable.
- Advanced knowledge of Siemens PLCs and SEW drives would give you an advantage in this role.
- It would benefit you greatly to come from a high paced/highly automated food, beverage or FMCG background.
