- Temporary Part-Time Opportunity - 14 hours
About the Role:
This temporary part-time (14 hours) position is responsible for coordinating public facing programs of the Studios and working closely with the studio-based artists and artists-in-residence to support their work and deliver associated programs. On a daily basis you will: develop, plan, program and deliver public workshops, activities, tours, talks and showings of work; liaise closely with and support the studio-based artists; and support the marketing and promotion of the Studios.
About the Person:
The successful candidate should have previous experience in relevant areas such as the arts, visitor services and event coordination.
They will have practical knowledge of the operational aspects of venues and public events. They will also have experience in the coordination and commissioning of high quality artworks and installations across a range of art forms, as well as experience working with artists in a creative setting.
It would be preferred but not essential for applicants to have experience with databases, financial systems and record keeping.
