About the role
Riverside Theatres is seeking an experienced and energetic Marketing Coordinator to join the small marketing team. Opened in 1988, Riverside Theatres is Western Sydneys premier performing arts centre. With 1,000 events a year Riverside offers a diverse range of live experiences you cant have at home. Events include live performances, an extensive screen program, numerous festivals that engage with many communities in the region, and is a key venue for hire for the arts community and the business sector in Parramatta.
The role is responsible for:
- Co-ordinating the delivery of marketing and promotion campaigns to develop audience attendances and stakeholder loyalty and to create community and industry awareness.
- Assist and support the Marketing and Communications Manager to deliver marketing and promotional services internally and externally.
- Build and maintain positive customer focused relationships with hirers, performing and event companies, promoters, artists, stakeholders and patrons.
- Assist in developing, maintaining and promoting Riverside Theatres as a centre of excellence in performing arts, events and exhibitions in Western Sydney region.
About the person
Every day is busy and dynamic at Riverside and therefore the successful candidate will need to be flexible, organised yet be able to adapt to changing demands. Candidates will need to ideally have experience in performing and/or visual arts marketing plus a solid knowledge of Microsoft Office and ticketing software, and sound knowledge of graphic design software. You will be a creative thinker, problem solver, enthusiastic and a can do attitude to thrive in the role.
What's on offer
We are offering an attractive salary from $68,577 p.a. plus Super. City of Parramatta also offer excellent employee benefits which can be accessed by the successful candidate.
