Program Administration Officer - AMES Australia

- New opportunity based at the SMECC offices in Mildura
- Fulltime maximum term position to 30 June 2021
- Annual salary is $48,464+ 9.5% super (with 2.5% increase on 22 July 2019)

About the role:

As the first point of contact, you will provide administrative support for the Education team delivering Adult Migrant Education (AMEP), SEE,





SkillsFirst and Reconnect Programs in Mildura.  You will also support partnership building efforts of the management team with communities, service providers and stakeholders, by hosting simple local events and through the distribution of promotional materials to external stakeholders.

About you:

You'll have sound written and verbal communication and customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a range of people including those from a Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) background. You have some knowledge of administration and record keeping requirements for Government Education Contracts and volunteers. You'll also have well developed computer skills and sound time management capabilities.

To be considered for this role, you will have:

- At least 2 years' experience providing administrative support

- A current Working with Children Check (for employment purposes)

- Minimum of Certificate III in Business or Business Administration (desirable)
