Account Manager - Digital Marketing

We're working with a well respected and fast growing agency specialising in helping their clients develop fantastic online customer experiences.  Well established with a very impressive client base, they've been able to build a team of highly experienced digital marketers and are the go-to business in their area of specialty. 

About the role

We're looking for a self-motivated individual who can work in a fast-paced environment that is both demanding and fulfilling.

This role will be responsible for the management of client relationships. You will have expert interpersonal skills and a high standard of written and verbal communication standards.





The role is crucial as you'll be the communication conduit between our clients and the project management / production team.

You'll be the client advocate but also be required to have a strong constitution to ensure expectations are correctly maintained and relationships developed.

Key Responsibilities include:

- Quickly building rapport with clients with regular communication and meetings.

- Maintaining relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending profit and service improvements.

- Effectively communicating with peers. Specifically around client deliverables to ensure expectations are exceeded as often as possible.

- Working with sales and management to identify future opportunities for the business to assist clients.

- Identifying service improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.

- Preparing reports for clients and management.

- Maintaining quality service by establishing and enforcing organisation standards.

- Maintaining professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.

- Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

In more detail, you'll have:

- Experience developing commercial digital marketing strategies, regardless of whether it's for SMBs or large enterprise / corporates
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) and experience build relationships and adding value to stakeholders or clients
- Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, IT or similar
- Confidence to meet with and guide clients, both SMBs and corporates, and achieve success from company developed digital marketing strategies
- Experience working well within a team where you're required to rely on others to help you achieve success
- An ability to learn fast and quickly adapt to change
