Reach Human Resources Pty Ltd
The Congregation of the Daughters of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart is a Catholic Congregation of Religious Women founded in France in 1874 by Fr. Jules Chevalier MSC. The Congregation is international in character and has a specific missionary thrust. The Australian Province is headquartered at the Provincial Office in Kensington NSW and is led by the Provincial Leader with advice from her Council.
The mission of the Congregation is to make known the inexpressible love of God as revealed in the person of Jesus. Its core values are based on respect for the inalienable dignity of every human person and respect for God’s gift of creation. These find expression in kindness, compassion, justice, care for the environment,
and a willingness to respond to need wherever the Sisters become aware of it.
The Provincial Office is the Congregation’s operational hub, responsible for supporting some 22 communities and associated works functioning across Australia; in addition, it offers support to the Congregation’s international communities. Importantly, the Provincial Office functions on the basis of the subsidiarity principle - what can be done locally is done locally. Accordingly, the Provincial Office comprises a small complement of staff.
Reporting to the Provincial Leader and Provincial Council, you will use your extensive business, financial and property management experience to assist in the stewardship, administration and accountability of resources to further the priorities of the Province. You will provide high quality analysis, planning, management, operations and problem-solving related to the resources of the Province.
Your superior communication and interpersonal skills will ensure you maintain collaborative and effective working relationships with the Sisters, staff and other stakeholders.
You will support the mission and charism of the Daughters of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart in undertaking your work.
The role is a permanent, full-time role and would suit an experienced person looking to work for an organisation that works to make a difference in the community.
