Inter Industrial Services is currently recruiting an experienced Slitter Operator on behalf of a well-established print and packaging company located in Thomastown.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled operator who takes pride in their work, has a strong understanding of production processes and is looking to join a professional manufacturing environment.

About the Role

Working within a busy production environment, you will be responsible for operating slitting machinery to ensure materials are processed accurately, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.

The role offers consistent day-shift hours, working from 6:00am to 2:00pm, Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate and set up slitting machinery in a print and packaging environment.
- Ensure products are slit accurately to customer specifications.
- Monitor production output and maintain quality standards.
- Perform machine adjustments and troubleshoot operational issues.
- Conduct routine machine maintenance and cleaning.




- Follow workplace health and safety procedures.
- Meet production targets while maintaining a high standard of workmanship.
- Maintain a clean and organised production area.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

- Previous experience operating slitting machinery preferred.
- Experience within the print, packaging or manufacturing industry preferred.
- Robust attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A strong understanding of workplace health and safety.
- A reliable, hardworking and proactive attitude.
