About the role:
Join our valued and highly rewarded team of agency nurses and care staff, providing exceptional clinical care across leading aged care and healthcare facilities throughout Far North Queensland.
RNs who join our team will be expected to:
- Make a difference to residents in providing exemplary clinical support
- Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams to assess and meet the physical, psychological and emotional needs of residents in accordance with the values and standards practiced within our valued client's facility settings
- Practice in accordance with the Aged Care Quality Standards and organisational policies and procedures.
- Willingly learn and interact with current IT systems
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to facility, legislative, and accreditation requirements relating to assessments, reporting, and care planning.
Successful applicants will possess the following:
- Demonstrate a willingness to provide exceptional person-centred care and support to residents
- Knowledge of Aged Care Accreditation Standards and Outcomes
- Value teamwork and collaboration
- Exhibit a passion for making a difference in the lives of residents
- Aged care experience (highly regarded)
- Minimum 12 months post-registration clinical experience in aged care, acute care, or community settings preferred.
- Current National Police Check
- Current AHPRA Registration
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- A positive can-do attitude and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
