I'm looking for a licensed electrician in Marshall to repair two faulty down-lights and provide a quote for upgrading all the down-lights in my house to integrated LED fittings.

1. Repair of Two Faulty Down lights

Two of my existing down lights have stopped working.

I have tested both fittings using known-working bulbs from other down lights, but neither light works. Each fitting is currently connected to an AcTEC Mini60 (Series III) electronic transformer located in the ceiling (20-60W, 11.5V AC output).

Given the age and condition of the transformers, I suspect one or both may have failed, although I would appreciate a professional assessment.

Could you please provide a quote to diagnose and repair these two faulty downlights?

2. Quote for a Full Down light Upgrade

I would also like a quote to replace all the existing down lights in my house with contemporary, integrated LED down lights.

The scope of work would ideally include:

- Replacing approximately 32 existing 12V MR16-style down lights with integrated LED fittings.
- Removing the existing electronic transformers, lamp holders and halogen bulbs.
- Installing suitable IC-4 rated LED down lights.




- Ensuring all installations comply with applicable Australian electrical standards.

Existing Setup and Property Details

- Approximately 32 down lights throughout the house.
- Existing fittings use 12V MR16-style bulbs.
- I believe each fitting has an AcTEC Mini60 (Series III) electronic transformer (20-60W, 11.5V AC output).
- The transformers are quite old and appear discolored.
