About the Opportunity

An exciting opportunity exists for an Engineering Enablement Manager to transform and optimise engineering operations within a growing, multidisciplinary engineering environment. Reporting to a senior engineering leader, you will drive improvements across engineering processes, systems, governance and ways of working.

Working closely with engineering, quality, manufacturing and other business functions, you will introduce scalable practices, improve efficiency and explore opportunities to leverage emerging technologies. This role offers the opportunity to challenge traditional approaches, influence change and shape how engineering teams operate.

Duties





- Review and optimise engineering processes and workflows
- Improve engineering change control and documentation
- Establish engineering standards and governance frameworks
- Identify opportunities for automation and AI
- Enhance engineering systems and data management
- Drive cross-functional collaboration and efficiency
- Lead continuous improvement and change initiatives
- Develop measures to monitor engineering effectiveness

Skills and Experience

- Tertiary qualification in Engineering or a related technical discipline
- Engineering management experienced within a highly regulated industry is preferred
- Proven experience transforming engineering operations, processes and ways of working
- Strong understanding of engineering governance, change control and technical documentation
- Experience improving engineering systems, workflows and information management
- Broad understanding of multidisciplinary engineering and product development lifecycles
- Demonstrated success leading cross-functional improvement and change initiatives
- Ability to influence stakeholders, challenge established practices and drive adoption
- Interest in leveraging automation, AI and emerging technologies to improve engineering productivity
