We are seeking to establish a pool of Special Needs Education Assistants for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2027 school year. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

At Kojonup District High School (DHS), we have proudly served our community since 1863. Located on the Albany Highway between Perth and Albany, our Kindergarten to Year 10 school provides a unique learning environment for approximately 220 students, including access to our 480-acre school farm.

The farm is an integral part of our students' educational journey and supports authentic learning opportunities across all year levels. It enriches programs in sustainability, animal husbandry, agriculture, environmental responsibility, and paddock-to-plate understandings, helping students develop practical skills and meaningful connections to the local community.

Growth Through Learning is our vision and underpins everything we do. We are committed to supporting the academic, social and emotional development of every student and creating opportunities for all learners to achieve their personal best.

Kojonup DHS has an established Positive Behaviour Support framework that promotes our core values of Respect, Responsibility, Pride and Safety. Our well‑resourced school provides a calm and welcoming environment where students are nurtured, valued and encouraged to reach their full potential.

We strive to educate the whole child so they can embrace the future with integrity, compassion and a love of lifelong learning.
