About the Opportunity
An exciting opportunity exists for a Senior Verification & Validation Engineer to provide technical leadership within a multidisciplinary R&D; environment. You will play a key role in developing verification and validation strategies, improving testing methodologies and driving engineering excellence.
Beyond technical delivery, this role offers the opportunity to challenge conventional approaches,
introduce smarter ways of working and mentor developing engineers.
Duties
- Develop V&V; strategies, test plans and protocols
- Lead system-level testing and failure investigations
- Improve test methodologies, efficiency and repeatability
- Drive automation and data analysis improvements
- Mentor engineers and provide technical guidance
- Challenge assumptions and influence engineering decisions
- Collaborate across R&D; and product development teams
Skills and Experience
- Relevant Engineering degree, Biomedical Engineering is advantageous
- Engineering experience within the medical device industry would be beneficial
- V&V; expertise within a highly regulated environment
- Strong analytical and diagnostic skills
- Technical leadership and improvement experience
- Collaborative and strong stakeholder management
- Strong documentation and quality focus
