Bananacoast Caravan Park is seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance person to support the day-to-day operations of the park. In this role, you will lead a small maintenance team and ensure that all maintenance tasks are completed safely, efficiently and on time.

Key responsibilities

Coordinate with other staff members and assist with ongoing maintenance and larger remediation works, which may include renovations of park assets

Supervise maintenance staff, assign and assist with tasks, ensure quality of work and compliance with safety requirements, and resolve workplace conflicts

Coordinate and schedule planned maintenance, renovations and repairs of park assets (e.g. cabins, bore, filtration system, grounds and machinery)

Manage day-to-day maintenance operations, prioritise tasks, respond to emergency repairs and assist the park management team with other duties as required

Enforce safety regulations and support environmental,



security and emergency procedures

Liaise with and engage tradespeople, obtain quotes when required and manage maintenance stock control

About you

Proven experience in a maintenance role; prior supervisory experience preferred

Robust leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to manage, motivate and resolve conflicts within the team

Demonstrated knowledge of maintenance best practice

Experience in the building and plumbing trades is highly desirable

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with the capacity to handle unexpected issues

Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with staff, management, contractors, residents and guests

Ability to prioritise, delegate and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
