Be part of a team that takes pride in creating welcoming spaces. What you'll be doing Mowing, gardening and maintaining park grounds. Undertaking cleaning, minor repairs and general maintenance. Helping keep facilities safe, clean and well-presented. Maintaining tools and equipment and reporting maintenance issues.
About the role
This is a casual position with hours worked as required to support operational needs, staff leave coverage and periods of increased workload. Work across a seven-day roster, including weekends and public holidays.
Typical shifts between 8:30am and 5:00pm, with start and finish times varying according to operational requirements. Occasional after-hours work may be required for urgent maintenance, safety concerns or operational needs. Physically demanding outdoor work in varying weather conditions. The hourly rates for this casual position are as follows: $40.00 per hour (inclusive of 25% casual loading) — Monday to Friday plus Allowances and Super; penalty rates paid per the Award. Please note, the casual loading is calculated on the ordinary hourly rate and not paid on penalties or overtime. What we're looking for A current Class C Driver Licence. Experience in maintenance of buildings and grounds. Valuable time management and communication skills. The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
