Disability Support Worker (Northern Suburbs)

About the role

A varying range of shifts will be available with our participants throughout the northern suburbs of Melbourne. The participantsupport requirements may include: personal care, transportation, community access, activities of daily living and independent living skills.

About you

- A robust understanding of the NDIS and participant support requirements
- Experienced in implementing positive behaviour support strategies to manage complex behaviours
- Experience supporting NDIS participants with physical and psychosocial disabilities




- Willing to travel at least 30 minutes for shifts
- The ability to communicate and appropriately respond to the needs of people with disability
- Passion for building strong relationships and rapport with participants
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently
- Ability to complete detailed and accurate documentation
- First Aid Certificate
- Drivers Licence
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
- Working with Children Check
- Proof of Covid-19 Vaccination
- Legal working rights in Australia
