Maintenance Electrician – FMCG Manufacturing

Location: Ingleburn, Sydney NSW
Salary: $150,000 + Super
Roster: 7-Day Fortnight
Shift: Permanent Night Shift – 7pm–7am (12-hour shifts)
Employment: Full time, Permanent

The Opportunity

We are seeking experienced Maintenance Electricians to join an established FMCG manufacturing operation based in Ingleburn.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands‑on electrician with a strong industrial or FMCG background to join a busy manufacturing environment, supporting production operations through preventative maintenance, electrical fault finding and breakdown repairs.
Working a 7-day fortnight roster, you will enjoy a consistent night‑shift schedule while earning an attractive salary package.

Key Responsibilities

- Carry out electrical breakdown maintenance and fault finding across production machinery and equipment.
- Perform preventative and scheduled maintenance to minimise production downtime.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults across motors, sensors, PLCs, VSDs and control systems.
- Diagnose and repair electrical issues across automated manufacturing and packaging equipment.
- Respond to machinery breakdowns and implement effective solutions.




- Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and production efficiency.
- Ensure all maintenance activities are completed safely and in line with site procedures.
- Work closely with production and maintenance teams to support operational requirements.

About You

- Current NSW A-Grade Electrical Licence.
- Previous experience as a Maintenance Electrician within FMCG, food, beverage, packaging or industrial manufacturing.
- Strong electrical fault‑finding and troubleshooting capabilities.
- Experience with automated production machinery, motors, sensors, PLCs and VSDs.
- Preventative and breakdown maintenance experience.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team.
- Comfortable working permanent night shift.
