About The Role

Join the Emerald office of a Queensland-owned mid-tier firm, advising mining contractors, primary producers and family businesses across the Central Highlands. You get the clients, resources and training of a large firm with the pace and lifestyle of a regional town. Ideal for someone from regional Queensland, or ready for a move that quick tracks their career.

What You Will Be Doing

- Preparing financial statements and tax returns for companies, trusts and partnerships
- Advising mining contractors and service businesses on structuring, cash flow and growth
- Working with beef, grain and horticulture clients on primary production tax matters
- Managing your own client portfolio with direct partner support
- Reviewing work of junior accountants and supporting their development





What We Are Looking For

- 4+ years public practice experience in business services
- CA or CPA qualified or progressing
- Mining, contractor or agribusiness client experience highly regarded
- Down to earth and comfortable building rapport with business owners and farmers
- Keen to be part of a tight-knit regional community
