The U.S. Pacific Fleet seeks a skilled shipwright for duties in Australia’s Garden Island area, working in dry docks to layout, build and repair ship support structures and to establish above-water reference points for alignment during dock entries.
You will select materials, perform exact geometry calculations with common measuring tools, operate standard machine and hand tools, and comply with overseas employment requirements, security clearances, and travel possibilities.
