About the role

You’ll provide specialised,



person-centred nursing care to a paediatric client within their home in the Mornington area.

The role requires a nurse with demonstrated experience in managing complex clinical needs and supporting a high-risk paediatric client.

Responsibilities will include:

- Providing safe, high-quality nursing care tailored to the client's individual needs.
- PEG feeding and associated clinical care.
- Medication administration and management.
- Monitoring and managing seizure activity in accordance with the client’s care plan.
- Recognising changes in clinical condition and escalating concerns appropriately.
- Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and reporting.
- Working collaboratively with the client’s family and relevant healthcare professionals.
- Promoting the client’s safety, comfort, dignity and wellbeing.

About you

We’re looking for a confident, compassionate and experienced nurses with a strong background in complex care and paediatric nursing.

To be successful, you’ll have:

- Current experience in paediatric nursing or complex community care.
- Demonstrated experience with PEG feeding.
- Experience with medication administration.
- Knowledge and experience in seizure management.
- Confidence supporting high-risk clients with complex clinical needs.
- Strong clinical assessment, communication and documentation skills.
- The ability to work independently within your scope of practice.

Essential requirements

All applicants must hold the relevant qualifications and current documentation for their position:

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse.
- Relevant nursing qualification.
- Current National Police Check.
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Current Working With Children Check.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- Evidence of current influenza vaccination.
- Full Australian working rights.
