Veridian Environments designs bespoke, passive solar homes across the ACT and NSW, led by our registered architect. What makes us different: we also make our own insulated precast concrete panels in our own yard. The drawings you produce don't sit in a folder. You'll see them become panels, then a home.

We're looking for an architectural draftsperson who takes pride in a clean, accurate drawing set and wants to work closely with a principal architect.

What the work involves

- Preparing DA, CDC and Construction Certificate drawing sets for homes in the ACT and NSW
- Turning concept designs into full documentation in Revit: plans, elevations, sections and details
- Building 3D models in SketchUp for design development and client presentations
- Making amendments from client, council and consultant feedback
- Coordinating with engineers, energy assessors and certifiers
- Keeping drawing registers and revisions tidy

You'll have





- 2+ years drafting residential work in Australia
- Strong, proven experience in both Revit and SketchUp
- A working knowledge of the NCC and of ACT and/or NSW approvals
- A careful eye for detail. You check your own work before anyone else does.
- Transparent communication and good at managing your own workload

Highly regarded

- Precast or concrete construction experience
- BASIX or NatHERS experience
- A drafting qualification (Diploma of Building Design or similar)
