Geotechnical Engineer – CMW Geosciences

Since starting in Perth in 2012, CMW Geosciences has expanded to 18 offices with over 300 employees across Australia and New Zealand. We are hard-working, down-to-earth, and passionate engineers and geologists who provide quality geotechnical site investigation, analysis, and design advice to the construction infrastructure and energy sectors.

We are looking to bring on a motivated and hands‑on Geotechnical Engineer with at least two years of site experience to join our busy team in North Ryde, Sydney. This is a fantastic chance to grow your career in a supportive environment, working on meaningful infrastructure, transmission and renewable energy projects that help you develop into a well‑rounded Geotechnical Engineer.

What We're Looking for

- A Civil Engineering, Geology or Earth Science Degree
- A minimum of 2 years experience as a Geotechnical Engineer in a consultancy setting
- Full Australian working rights, preferably citizenship or residency
- Experience working in New South Wales is strongly preferred
- Robust experience working onsite, problem‑solving,



and communicating with clients and contractors.
- Previous exposure to proposal preparation and technical report writing
- Ability to travel to and work in regional NSW as required
- Good interpersonal skills
- Exceptional organisation and communication skills, both verbal and written
