We’re recruiting an experienced Inventory Controller to support our client’s logistics operation in Pinkenba.

This role is for someone who understands inventory beyond simply processing transactions or scanning picks. You’ll take ownership of stock accuracy, using both the warehouse management system and physical inventory to maintain accurate records, investigate discrepancies and ensure materials can be located when required.

The role

Your responsibilities will include:

- Receipting, put-away and maintaining accurate stock locations
- Managing stock movements, transfers, returns and adjustments
- Completing cycle counts, stocktakes and reconciliations
- Investigating discrepancies and identifying the cause of inventory variances
- Maintaining accurate inventory records and traceability through the WMS
- Supporting controlled picking and release of materials
- Working closely with the warehouse and operational team to maintain inventory accuracy

About you

You’ll bring:

- Experience as an Inventory Controller, Stock Controller, Materials Controller or similar




- Extensive practical experience using a warehouse management system
- A thorough understanding of inventory control and stock accuracy
- Experience with cycle counts, reconciliations and discrepancy investigation
- Experience maintaining stock locations, movements and inventory records
- Good Excel skills for inventory reporting and analysis
- Excellent attention to detail and personal accountability
- A practical approach and willingness to work hands-on within the warehouse when required
- A robust commitment to safe work practices

Experience gained within 3PL, project logistics, industrial distribution, manufacturing, engineering stores, maintenance/spares, infrastructure or similar inventory environments will transfer well to this role.

You’ll need to be able to reliably attend the Pinkenba site for a 6:00am start.
