We’re looking for casual housekeepers to join our team at Surf Hotel, one of Torquay’s newest boutique hotels.

With summer just around the corner, it’s a great time to join our friendly team in a beautiful beachfront location.

We’re looking for reliable, enthusiastic people with an eye for detail who take pride in creating a outstanding guest experience.

Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not essential.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

- Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience
- Knowledge of WHS and responsibilities
- Great people and communication skills with an eye for detail

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Provide exceptional customer service and enhance guest experience
- Opening/closing of facilities
- Provide guests with local recommendations, tours and activities




- Daily cleaning of hotel rooms and common areas including, restaurant reception, office, laundry, wellness space
- Ensure high standards of cleanliness are maintained throughout the hotel
- Complete room cleaning duties within allocated timeframes, while maintaining
- Surf Hotel’s standards of quality and presentation.
- Restock cleaning products and linen daily
- Report any maintenance issues to Hotel Manager
- Follow all work health and safety procedures
- Responding to safety and security issues
- Maintain a professional and helpful attitude towards guests and team
- Perform any other duties as assigned by Hotel Manager or General Manager
