Description

Arra Group provides solutions to large mining clients across the Pilbara for their labour,maintenance and asset management needs, as well as being engaged in metro projectsfor electrical and mechanical services. Due to company growth and expansion, we are urgently looking for an experienced Accounts | Payroll Officer for our Perth team.

Start Date – ASAP

Location – Osborne Park

What the role consists of:

- Manage end-to-end client invoicing, including contractor labour, timesheets, and project-based billing
- Oversee accounts receivable and payable functions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Prepare and review financial reports, including invoicing performance and KPIs
- Support month-end processes, reconciliations, and reporting requirements
- Work closely with the Finance & Commercial Manager to ensure accurate financialdata across internal and client systems




- Review and validate timesheets, expenses, and cost allocations
- Assist with payroll processing and coordination when required
- Maintain and improve financial processes and reporting efficiencies
- Handle client and supplier queries in a professional and timely manner
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards

What we require from you:
- Minimum 3+ years’ experience in an Accountant or similar role
- Strong background in accounts, billing, and financial reporting
- Experience in project-based or time-billing environments (highly desirable)
- Exposure to payroll processes is advantageous
- Relevant qualification in Accounting (Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred)
- Experience with MYOB AccountRight (Time Billing experience highly regarded)
- Advanced Excel skills with the ability to analyse and manipulate data
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience in mining, construction, or services industries is a plus
