The role:
We're looking for an Inventory Control Analyst to own inventory accuracy and insight across ANZ - based at our Somersby manufacturing site and working with our regional warehouses.
This is a role for someone who loves getting into the detail and then doing something useful with it. You'll be the person who knows exactly what we have, where it is, what it's worth and what needs to change. That means:
- Preparing monthly ANZ inventory reports - stock value, turns, days on hand, ageing and excess, slow-moving and obsolete stock - and turning them into a clear picture for management
- Digging into what's driving excess, shortage and variance, and recommending quantified actions to bring inventory under control
- Working alongside Purchasing and Demand Planning to fine-tune min/max, safety stock and MOQ settings
- Running physical and cycle counts at Somersby, coordinating stocktakes across our warehouses and supporting the annual stock audit
- Keeping SAP transactions accurate and on time, and chasing down discrepancies until they're solved
- Owning the quality of item, BOM and inventory planning data
- Building dashboards and KPIs in Excel, Power BI or SAP
- Acting as SAP Master Data Steward for ANZ and the information link between Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Distribution and Finance
What we’re looking for
You don’t need to have worked in manufacturing or garage doors before, but it's significant you:
- Have a qualification in supply chain, commerce, finance, data or analytics - or can show equivalent experience doing the job
- Have 5+ years' experience in inventory control, planning or supply chain
- Know SAP, or another ERP/MRP system, and learn new platforms quickly
- Can take a messy set of numbers and turn them into a recommendation
- Are advanced in Excel - including pivot tables, lookups and data modelling
- Hold a forklift licence (or are happy to get one), because counting stock on the floor is part of the gig
- Are happy to travel occasionally to interstate and New Zealand warehouses for stocktakes and reviews
If you're detail-focused, take pride in accuracy and enjoy the satisfaction of a reconciled stocktake, you'll fit right in.
Chamberlain Group encourages people of all backgrounds to apply. We're proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer, and you'll be considered for this role regardless of your personal attributes or circumstances. We're committed to fostering an environment where people of all lived experiences feel welcome.
Persons with disabilities who anticipate needing accommodations for any part of the application process may contact, in confidence: ***********@chamberlainanz.com
