Calexico has been Brisbane's home of international luxury fashion since 2010. What began as a single boutique on James Street has grown into a destination for clients who love beautiful clothes and exceptional service.

From the heart of the James Street Precinct in Fortitude Valley, we run an expansive womenswear boutique, a dedicated menswear boutique, and an e-commerce platform that connects clients worldwide. Together they carry more than 125 international designers. Our online business is growing fast, and we want every client who shops with us from afar to feel just as looked after as they would in store.

The Role: Online Client Support (Phone & Digital) | Fortitude Valley

When the phone rings, yours is the first voice our clients hear. When a message lands asking "Will this fit me?" or "What would you wear this with?", you're the stylist who answers and closes the sale.

This role is based in office in Fortitude Valley and is a full-time position.

What you'll be doing





- Answering every incoming call and turning enquiries into sales
- Giving confident sizing, fit and styling advice
- Recommending the perfect piece, the matching accessory, or the right alternative size or colour
- Replying to email, live chat, SMS and social enquiries quickly and warmly through Gorgias
- Following up with clients to build lasting relationships and repeat business
- Handling returns and exchanges smoothly, and re-styling where it's welcome
- Working hand in hand with our fulfilment team to keep every order on track

To succeed, you will have:

- At least two years' experience in fashion retail or sales
- Genuine confidence on the phone, picking up with a smile and enjoying the conversation
- A natural ability to sell, and a track record of hitting targets
- Clear, concise writing skills, knowing a short answer often sells better than a long one
- Excitement about using AI and new technology in your day-to-day work
- Experience with Gorgias or a similar helpdesk platform (highly regarded but not essential)
- An organised approach and the ability to stay calm when it's busy
- A love for fashion and pride in working with premium brands
