The Opportunity

As Centre Director, you will take ownership of the overall leadership, performance and success of a large early learning service. This role is ideal for a proven leader who enjoys balancing strategic oversight with hands-on team engagement. You'll be responsible for leading a sizeable team of educators, maintaining exceptional compliance standards, supporting service growth, managing budgets and utilisation, and fostering strong relationships with families and the local community.

What You'll Be Doing

- Providing inspirational leadership to a multidisciplinary early learning team
- Building a positive, collaborative and high-performing workplace culture
- Driving quality outcomes aligned with the National Quality Framework
- Managing service operations, occupancy, budgeting and workforce planning
- Supporting and mentoring educational leaders, coordinators and educators




- Strengthening relationships with families, community partners and stakeholders
- Leading continuous improvement initiatives and service innovation
- Ensuring a safe, inclusive and welcoming environment for children and families

What We're Looking For

- Demonstrated experience leading a medium to large early childhood education and care service
- Strong people leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams
- Sound understanding of the National Quality Standards, Education and Care Services National Regulations, and Child Protected Standards
- Experience managing budgets, occupancy targets and operational performance
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills
- A collaborative leadership style with a genuine passion for community-based services
- Relevant Early Childhood qualification recognised by ACECQA
