The Lillywhite Hotel Group is Family-run hotel group with Venues in Charters Towers, Mareeba and Townsville. We are recruiting for a Trade Qualified Chef or experienced cook for our kitchen at The Graham Hotel in Mareeba.
The position will suit candidates looking for full-time employment and who enjoy working on their own.
This is a full time position and will include split shifts, nights, weekends and public holidays, with two rostered days off each week
Our ideal candidate will possess the following skills qualities and capabilities:
- An individual who can take ownership of the kitchen and can work independently and unsupervised
- Trade Industry Qualification in Commercial Cookery
- If not, trade qualified a minimum of 5 years industry experience
- Current Food Safety Supervisor Certificate or food handling certificate
- Manage the stock control, including ordering and stocktaking
- Adhere and complete the hotels food safety requirements whilst on shift
- Create Daily and weekly specials
