About the role

Guma-Warnii is looking for an experienced Payroll & Accounts Officer to join our Dunsborough finance team on a six-month fixed-term contract.

You’ll take ownership of end-to-end payroll for casual labour hire and salaried employees. Our labour hire clients have different pay and billing arrangements, timesheet processes and approval requirements. You’ll work with employees, clients and internal teams to resolve discrepancies, follow up on missing approvals and keep pay runs on track.

Alongside payroll, you’ll look after day-to-day accounts work across several entities. You’ll report to the Financial Controller and work closely with the Senior Finance Officer.

What you’ll do

- Manage payroll from employee setup and pay and billing arrangements through to timesheet approvals, reimbursements and pay runs.
- Prepare client invoices, follow up outstanding accounts and reconcile receipts.
- Process supplier invoices and prepare payments.
- Reconcile accounts and support month-end tasks, including journals,



payroll tax and superannuation.
- Keep records aligned across FastTrack360, Xero, JobAdder and Employment Hero, and help improve payroll and finance procedures.

What you’ll bring

- Hands-on experience running end-to-end payroll, including checking timesheets, resolving discrepancies and meeting pay deadlines.
- Experience managing different pay arrangements, timesheet processes or approval requirements.
- Practical experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable and reconciliations.
- Confidence following up with employees, clients and approvers to get the information you need.
- Experience with payroll and accounting software. Labour hire payroll, FastTrack360 and Xero experience are desirable.
