Job Details

- Location: Melbourne, Victoria
- Work Hours: Full Time (38 hours per week)
- Employment Type: Permanent
- Salary: $85 - 90k + super

Responsibilities

- Build relationships with homeowners, architects, interior designers and builders.
- Provide a consultative showroom experience, recommending products to suit customer needs.
- Guide customers through tile selections, colours, textures, patterns and layouts.
- Assist with mood boards, layouts and product mock‑ups.
- Develop industry relationships to generate new business opportunities.
- Manage enquiries, prepare quotes and follow up leads to build the sales pipeline.
- Manage the full sales process, from initial consultation through to negotiation and closing sales.
- Convert showroom enquiries into orders through proactive follow‑up and strong customer relationships.
- Maintain showroom presentation, product displays and visual merchandising.

Qualifications & Experience

- Previous experience in showroom sales, retail, consultative sales or a similar customer‑facing role.
- Background in Interior Design, Styling, Architecture or a related creative field is highly regarded.




- Strong appreciation for design, colour, textures, materials and spatial presentation.
- Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships with customers and industry professionals.
- Strong sales skills, with the ability to manage the sales process, follow up leads and close opportunities.
- Customer‑focused with a robust commercial mindset and a natural ability to influence purchasing decisions.
- Excellent communication, organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Self‑motivated, proactive and comfortable working autonomously.
