We are seeking a reliable, compassionate Dari-speaking support worker to support an adult female NDIS participant in Guildford.

The participant communicates only in Dari, so fluent spoken Dari is essential to understand her needs, support her choices and communicate effectively.

About the role

You will provide individual support in the participant’s home and community, according to her support plan. Duties may include:

- Assisting with daily routines and household tasks.
- Supporting community access, appointments and shopping.
- Providing companionship and encouraging independence.
- Providing personal care where required under the support plan.
- Maintaining accurate progress notes and reporting concerns.

About you

- Fluent in spoken Dari.
- Respectful of cultural needs, privacy and personal preferences.
- Reliable, patient and able to build a trusting relationship.




- Experience supporting people with disability is desirable.
- Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability or a related qualification is desirable.

Requirements

- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates.
- Australian work rights.
- Driver’s licence and access to a reliable, insured vehicle if transport is required.
