About us

Precision Projects is a Queensland civil and landscape construction company. We build sports fields, bulk earthworks, drainage and finished surfaces for councils, schools, clubs and private clients across South East Queensland. We are ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 certified and we own and maintain our own fleet. We come from a country background. That means we turn up, we do what we say, and we look after our people.

Our sites include council sports precincts, golf courses and racing and equestrian facilities across Brisbane, Ipswich, Logan, the Gold Coast and the Sunshine Coast.

The role

Your main job is moving our plant between the Gleneagle yard and our sites across South East Queensland. Dozers (CAT D4, D5 and D6), excavators up to 20 tonne, rollers, skid steers, tractors and specialist sports field gear. This is not a long haul role. You will very rarely be away overnight.

When you are not floating, you join one of our crews and support them on civil and landscape construction sites, running general plant and helping wherever the job needs it.

· Float plant safely between yard and sites, on time

· Load, unload and restrain machines to the Load Restraint Guide

· Daily prestarts on the truck and trailer, and keep both in good order

· Plan routes and work with the foremen to have machines where they are needed





· Operate general plant on site and support the crew

· Complete dockets, prestarts and safety paperwork

About you

· HC licence. This is a must. · Proven experience floating heavy plant. This is not a first timer role.

· Confident loading and unloading tracked and wheeled machines

· Positive working knowledge of load restraint, fatigue and oversize rules under the NHVR

· Able to run general site plant: skid steer, excavator, roller, loader or tractor

· Sound mechanical understanding. You pick up problems early and can do the basic fixes.

· Clean driving record and White Card

· Full Australian working rights. This is a must.

· Living within about 30 minutes of our Gleneagle yard (Beaudesert, Jimboomba, Logan Village, Tamborine, Canungra, Boonah and surrounds)
