Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm

Primary Purpose
We are seeking an experienced Logistics Officer (Storeman) to join a well-established warehouse and distribution team based in Somersby. This is a hands‑on role responsible for receiving, storing, picking, packing and distributing materials, while maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring safe warehouse operations.
Key Accountabilities
- Manage day‑to‑day warehouse activities including picking, packing, receipting and dispatching materials.
- Operate forklifts to safely move and store stock.
- Conduct regular stocktakes, identify discrepancies and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Utilise warehouse management systems and ERP platforms to process stock movements.
- Support stock consolidation, putaway and sorting of returned materials.
- Maintain compliance with workplace health,
safety and environmental procedures.
- Work collaboratively within a close‑knit, experienced warehouse team.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics or stores setting.
- Current forklift licence (essential), with reach forklift experience/licence highly regarded.
- Current Class C driver's licence.
- Strong understanding of inventory management and stock control processes.
- Experience using ERP or warehouse management systems, ideally SAP.
- Experience with barcode scanning and order picking systems.
- Basic computer literacy, including Microsoft Word, Excel and email.
- Strong attention to detail, communication skills and a team‑focused attitude.
Desirable Requirements
- Qualification in Logistics, Procurement or a related discipline.
- Previous experience in utilities, heavy industry or industrial warehousing.
- Dogman ticket.
