Full Stack Developer | Contract within the Public sector/n Your recent company /n You’ll be joining a large public sector organisation delivering and supporting complex digital applications and platforms across a highly regulated environment.

Your new role /n As a Full Stack Developer, you will contribute to the design, development and delivery of complex digital applications. You’ll work across front-end and back-end development, databases, cloud environments and integrations, while contributing to technical design and development standards.

/n Your responsibilities will include: /n Developing full stack applications using Java/Spring Boot, JavaScript, TypeScript and Node.js

/n Designing and developing solutions using SQL and NoSQL databases

/n Developing applications within AWS environments

/n Building and supporting APIs, integrations and database connectors

/n Producing detailed technical designs and contributing to application architecture

/n Developing common utilities and complex application functions

/n Performing code reviews and maintaining fit-for-purpose technical documentation

/n Working with internal teams and vendors to resolve complex technical and delivery issues

/n Contributing to CI/CD, testing, deployment, release and operational support activities





What you'll need to succeed /n Strong hands-on full stack development experienceStrong backend development experience with Java and Spring Boot

/n Front-end development experience with JavaScript and TypeScript

/n Experience with Node.js

/n Strong database experience across SQL and/or NoSQL

/n Experience developing applications with AWS

/n Experience with APIs, integrations and CI/CD environments

/n Strong knowledge of the software development lifecycle

/n The ability to work effectively across complex, multi-team delivery environments

/n Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent knowledge and experience /n Experience within government, justice, courts, tribunals or another complex regulated environment would be advantageous.
