The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Design Engineerto join our growing in-house design team as we continue to self-perform design deliveryacross our renewable energy projects.

This role offers an opportunity to work directly alongside our engineers, project managers, and designers to deliver end-to-end design packagesfor major Solar, Wind, and BESS projects — from concept through to construction and commissioning.

Key Responsibilities

Assist draftspersons to prepare detailed electrical design drawings, including single-line diagrams, general arrangements, schematics, and termination diagrams for Solar, Wind, and BESS projects.

Support the development of High Voltage, Low Voltage, and Control Systemdesigns across a variety of renewable projects.





Collaborate with structural and civil engineers to produce and review design packages for switchrooms, substations, and balance-of-plant systems.

Contribute to design standards, and review processesto ensure accuracy and consistency across all SPD projects.

Assist with as-built documentationand design coordination during construction.

What We’re Looking For

Degree qualifications recognised in Australia (CPENG / RPEQ – Desirable but not mandatory)

Minimum 5 years’ experiencein an electrical design/drafting role (renewable energy, substation, or HV/LV experience highly regarded).

Strong understanding of electrical design documentation, including schematics, GAs, and layout plans.

High attention to detail with the ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications.

Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary project team.

Self-motivated, proactive, and able to manage priorities within project deadlines.
