SENIOR DEVELOPMENT MANAGER – LAND DEVELOPMENT
Location: Brisbane / South East Queensland | Full Time/Contract. Hybrid/Remote. Hours and days to be agreed

We’re seeking an experienced and commercially astute Senior Development Manager to lead the full lifecycle of a residential land subdivision. from smaller infill projects to masterplanned communities and land development projects from acquisition, feasibility and due diligence through planning approvals, consultant coordination, civil construction and delivery.

Key responsibilities

- Manage land development projects across the full lifecycle.
- Site identification, due diligence, council and authority liaison while achieving planning approvals.
- Oversee consultant coordination and civil construction.
- Manage project budgets, feasibility assessments, cash flow forecasts and delivery programs.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, approval constraints and cost variations.
- Oversee tendering, procurement, subdivision delivery and completion, plan sealing and title registration.
- Report on project performance, milestones, financial results and delivery risks.
- Build relationships with government authorities, consultants and stakeholders, and guide project teams.

About you





- Minimum 7 years’ relevant property development experience in land development (essential), including residential subdivisions or masterplanned communities. Minimum 5 years engineering experience (viewed favorably)
- Solid knowledge of Queensland planning legislation, approval processes and local government requirements.
- Experience overseeing civil construction and infrastructure delivery.
- Strong financial feasibility, budgeting, forecasting and commercial skills.
- Proven stakeholder management, negotiation and leadership capability.
- Relevant qualification in property development, urban planning, engineering, construction management, project management or similar.
