Civil Operators!

Location: Mackay Local Roles

Roster: Monday to Friday – 10 hour days

About our Client:

Our client is a reputable civil construction contractor delivering a range of infrastructure, roadworks and urban development projects across the Mackay and surrounding regions. With a strong focus on quality workmanship, safety and reliable project delivery, they offer a great opportunity to join an experienced team working on local civil construction projects.

What you will be doing:

HR Watercart Driver

- Operating an HR Water Cart across a subdivision construction project.
- Undertaking water cart operations for dust suppression across site.
- Assisting with roadworks, earthworks and general civil construction activities.
- Supporting site preparation and maintaining protected working conditions.
- Completing daily pre-starts, equipment checks and basic maintenance.
- Working alongside operators and ground crew to support daily project requirements.
- Assisting with general labouring duties when required.
- Following all site safety procedures and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Loader Operator

- Operating a loader across civil construction projects.
- Assisting with general labouring duties when required.
- Supporting the team with basic levelling, pipe laying and site preparation.
- Working alongside other operators and ground crew to keep projects running efficiently.
- Assisting with moving materials, loading trucks and maintaining site operations.
- Pitching in across various duties as required to support the wider team.
- Maintaining a strong focus on workplace health and safety.
- Keeping equipment clean and ensuring daily pre-starts and basic checks are completed.

What you will need:





- Demonstrated experience operating wheel loaders or HR Watercarts
- Previous experience on civil construction or urban projects.
- Pipelaying experience
- Strong understanding of civil construction processes.
- Construction Card (White/Blue Card).
- Right to Work in Australia.
- Current HR Driver's Licence.
- Ability to pass regular Drug and Alcohol Testing.
- Ability to pass Pre-Employment Medical (PEM).
