The Role

We are seeking an experienced Development Manager on a fixed term contract to deliver two significant projects. Reporting to the Development Director, you will take responsibility for managing the development from design through to completion, working alongside dedicated project managers, consultants, contractors and tenants.

Busselton – managing a 23Ha commercia/industrial subdivision and the development of a 33,000m² large format retail development, including:

- Managing the civil contract alongside a dedicated project manager
- Managing the titling process




- Managing subdivision works and settlements in accordance with sale contracts
- Managing the building contract alongside a dedicated project manager
- Managing tenant and contractor variations
- Providing regular reporting to stakeholders
- Tracking expenditure against budget and overseeing monthly progress claims and consultant invoicing
- Managing the handover of tenancies to tenants in accordance with the Agreements for Lease

Mandurah – managing and superintending a 33-lot survey-strata subdivision and the development of 33 warehouse units.

About You

You are an organised, proactive and commercially minded development professional who is comfortable managing multiple projects and stakeholders at the same time. You will bring:

- Large format retail or retail experience (desirable).
- Clear communication skills, initiative and a collaborative approach to working with a range of stakeholders.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills, with the ability to track expenditure against budget and review progress claims and invoices.
- Good organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise competing tasks and meet deadlines.
