Bielby is experiencing a period of sustainedgrowth, supported by a strong pipeline of major infrastructure opportunitiesand continued expansion into new regions. Building on over 40 years ofsuccessful major project delivery, we are seeking a Bid Manager who will leadhigh-value tenders across major infrastructure projects.

This rolewill do more than just coordinate and will require someone with a strongtechnical and commercial understanding. It will suit a seasonal Bid Manager ora Project Delivery Manager that wants to step into the pre-contractsenvironment and demonstrate their strategic skills.

What You'll Do

- Lead D&C; and Construct onlybids for the full tender life cycle including post-tender clarification,negotiation support and handover
- Lead bid kick-off meetings andworkshops, ensuring responsibilities, milestones and critical timeframesare transparent
- Coordinate and leadmulti-disciplinary bid teams ensuring a "one team" approach
- Develop and manage the bidstrategy, win themes, value proposition and bid execution plan includingcosts and budget
- Coordinate bid/no-bid assessmentsand provide recommendations addressing strategic fit
- Maintain effective relationshipswith clients, JV Partners, Consultants and Sub-contractors.

About You

- Knowledge of D&C; and Alliance/JV contracting models, applying a strategic lens to risk and opportunity to secure and protect project margins
- Demonstrated leadership underpinned by on-site experience, with the ability to provide technical and commercial solutions that provide a distinct competitive advantage in the market
- A history of successful D&C; bid and project delivery, demonstrating the ability to lead tenders to highly successful outcomes
- Capability to forge trusted, long-term strategic partnerships with clients and lead cross-functional teams toward unified commercial objectives
- A strong technical engineering insight and sharp commercial acumen,



ensuring that bids are technically sound and commercially optimised for maximum return on investment
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related, with postgraduate qualifications in project management or business viewed favourably.
