Inspiration pulled from travels through Spain, Morocco, and the Middle East paired with a strong belief that Australia has some of the world's best produce, is what has shaped the venue's identity.

The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for passionate and driven Sous Chef or Junior Sous Chef to join the team at NOMAD Sydney. This is an exciting opportunity to step into a leadership role, working closely with our Head Chef and experienced kitchen team to deliver bold, produce-driven food.

At NOMAD, our menu is inspired by the flavours and techniques of the Middle East, Morocco and Spain, brought to life using the best ingredients from across Australia. This role is ideal for a chef who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen, values collaboration, and is eager to create memorable dining experiences with a strong focus on quality and creativity.

Our ideal candidate will have

- 2+ years experience in a similar role within premium restaurants
- Knowledge of Middle Eastern and Mediterranean cuisine and techniques advantageous, however not essential.
- Commitment, passion and appreciation for the hospitality industry.




- Ability to work autonomously while treating guests and peers with respect, humility and kindness.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
- Knowledge of BOH operations such as COG’s, P & L’s and rostering.
