We're working with a highly regarded Brisbane commercial litigation practice looking to appoint an experienced lawyer to its established team.
The firm has an excellent client base, highly regarded Partners and a strong pipeline of quality disputes. This is an opportunity to work on substantial matters, develop direct client relationships and take genuine ownership of your work.
The work
You'll be involved in a broad range of commercial disputes, including:
- Contractual and business disputes
- Shareholder, partnership and corporate disputes
- Insolvency and restructuring-related litigation
- Property and construction disputes
- Debt recovery, enforcement and securities disputes
- Complex court proceedings, mediations and dispute resolution
You'll work closely with experienced litigators, with the opportunity to manage matters, advise clients, develop strategy and take on increasing responsibility as your experience grows.
About you
You'll ideally bring
- 3–10+ years' PAE in commercial litigation or dispute resolution.
- Strong litigation fundamentals, drafting and analytical skills.
- Experience managing commercial disputes and dealing directly with clients, appropriate to your level.
- A practical, commercially minded approach to resolving disputes.
- A genuine interest in continuing to develop your career as a commercial litigator.
