- Lead and oversee the day-to-day operations team, including the picking and packing (fulfilment) team and the delivery team

- Oversee order fulfilment and dispatch so that wholesale and online orders go out accurately and on time

- Manage stock, warehousing and cold chain storage, including stock rotation, FIFO, yield and waste control

- Run inventory management, including stocktakes, stock accuracy, reorder levels and reporting

- Plan and coordinate logistics and delivery runs, and manage vehicle scheduling and delivery performance

- Manage equipment, maintenance and repairs, including preventative maintenance schedules and contractor coordination

- Keep the facility, cool rooms and dispatch areas organised, clean and effective

- Uphold food safety, temperature control and WHS standards, and support audits and compliance

- Work closely with sales, production and customer service to meet customer needs and fix issues quickly





- Find and implement improvements to processes, systems and productivity

About you

- Proven experience in the meat industry is essential (processing, wholesale, boning room, or meat distribution and logistics)

- Previous experience in an operations, warehouse, dispatch or logistics management role

- Strong knowledge of meat products, cuts, cold chain and food safety requirements
- A hands-on leader who can motivate a team in a fast-paced environment

- Highly organised, with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

- Experience with inventory or ERP systems and good computer skills

- Forklift licence and HACCP knowledge are highly regarded
