Medical Receptionist – Occupational Health (Full-Time)

Safework Health is expanding and seeking an enthusiastic and professional Medical Receptionist to join our Occupational Health team. This role is based in Belmont, WA and offers an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administration and customer service skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

As the first point of contact for our clients and candidates, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional service while supporting the smooth operation of our medical clinic.

About the Role

Reporting to the Clinic Manager, your responsibilities will include:

- Coordinating and processing medical bookings
- Reception and general administrative duties
- Administering health questionnaires
- Managing medical results and documentation
- Conducting workplace drug and alcohol testing
- Updating invoicing and client records
- Preparing and organising medical information prior to appointments
- Liaising with clients, candidates, medical practitioners, and stakeholders
- Providing support to doctors, nurses, and management as required

About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

Essential

- Previous experience in a medical reception, healthcare administration, GP practice, or medical centre environment
- Current Driver's Licence
- High level of computer literacy
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel




- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Professional, ethical, and reliable approach to work
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a busy setting

Desirable

- Experience using Best Practice or similar software
- Live close to Belmont, WA
- HLPAT005 Collect Specimens for Drugs of Abuse certification
- Previous experience in occupational health or workplace medicals
