About You

- Degree-qualified in Mining Engineering.

- Experience in an open-pit mining environment.

- Demonstrated, hands-on Alastri experience is essential.

- Experience in short and medium-term mine planning.

- Understanding of pit design, scheduling, production planning and mine optimisation.

- Ability to work independently and deliver technical outcomes.

- Solid communication skills and ability to collaborate with operational teams.

The Role

An opportunity exists for a Mine Engineer / Senior Mine Engineer to join an established WA gold mining operation on a contract basis.

Working on an 8:6 FIFO roster from Perth,



you'll support operational mine planning and engineering activities, contributing to pit design, scheduling and production planning.

The position will suit an engineer with practical Alastri experience who can contribute to the delivery of safe and efficient mining operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain open-pit mine designs using Alastri.

- Undertake short and medium-term mine planning and scheduling.

- Prepare pit designs, dig plans and production schedules.

- Support production teams with mine planning and engineering requirements.

- Monitor mining performance against plans and identify opportunities for improvement.

- Collaborate with geology, survey, production and technical services personnel.
