About us

Molong Early Learning Centre cares for up to 61 children a day across three rooms: Wilay for babies from birth to two, Yingaa for our two to three year olds, and Biladurang for our four to five year old preschool program. Our waiting list is long, which tells us local families trust what we do, and we are a short drive from Orange in the heart of the Central West.

Our program embraces nature-based learning, loose parts and age-appropriate risky play, with an outdoor environment that invites children to explore, problem-solve and build resilience. Child safety sits at the heart of everything we do, and we work alongside families as their children's first teachers.

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Certificate III educator to join us in a permanent full time role. You will work mainly with our younger children across the Wilay and Yingaa rooms, alongside experienced Room Leaders and our Educational Leader. The role is 38 hours a week, Monday to Friday, worked as eight-hour shifts with a rostered day off every fourth week, and the centre closes for about four weeks over Christmas and New Year.

In this role you will:

- Provide warm, responsive care that helps every child feel safe, settled and secure through their day
- Plan and deliver play-based learning aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework, building on each child's interests and strengths




- Build trusting relationships with families and share the moments that matter from their child's day
- Record meaningful observations that feed into room programming, and keep accurate attendance, incident and medication records
- Follow our health, hygiene, safety and child protection procedures, and help keep the room calm, inviting and well organised

What you'll bring

- A completed Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, or an ACECQA-approved equivalent
- A current NSW Working With Children Check for paid employment
- Current first aid, CPR, anaphylaxis and asthma management training
- Child protection training, and a satisfactory National Police Check or a willingness to obtain one before you start
- Experience with babies and toddlers is welcome, though warmth, reliability and a love of outdoor, play-based learning matter most
