EXPERIENCED CHEF – FULL TIME

Club Hotel Warragul | Gippsland, Victoria The Club Hotel Warragul is looking for an experienced and passionate Chef to join our small, close-knit and talented kitchen team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a busy, vibrant restaurant setting and takes pride in preparing and presenting high-quality meals.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with menu planning, food preparation and cooking meals to a consistently high standard and in accordance with menu specifications.

- Ensure all food preparation and cooking processes comply with food safety regulations.

- Monitor the quality, preparation and presentation of all dishes.

- Maintain high standards of hygiene across food preparation, storage and cooking areas.

- Keep the kitchen clean, organised and running efficiently.

- Manage stock control, ordering, inventory and food costings.

- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, ensuring consistency and efficiency.

- Support the front-of-house team when required.

About You

- Proven experience as a Chef in a busy restaurant environment.

- Minimum of 12 months' experience in a chef role.





- Strong culinary skills and a genuine passion for food and creating quality dishes.

- Excellent time management, problem-solving and multitasking skills.

- A positive, can-do attitude with a strong eye for detail.

- Commitment to food safety, cleanliness and hygiene standards.

- A team player who can also work independently when required.

- Availability to work weekends.
