McDonald’s Waterloo is a quick-service restaurant operated by SESJ Pty Ltd ATF SESJ Family Trust under a McDonald’s franchise agreement. We are committed to delivering quality food, efficient service and a positive customer experience. We are seeking an experienced Retail Manager to lead store operations and support the ongoing performance of the business.

Key responsibilities

- Oversee day-to-day retail operations and maintain efficient store workflows and service standards.
- Manage product presentation, quality and customer experience in line with franchise requirements.
- Plan and implement sales initiatives, promotional activities and operational improvements.
- Monitor sales performance, budgets, labour costs and operational targets; prepare relevant reports.
- Manage inventory, ordering, stock rotation, wastage and stock-control procedures.
- Recruit, train, roster, supervise and support employees; delegate duties and assess performance.
- Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally and implement service improvements.
- Maintain compliance with food safety, workplace health and safety and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records and foster a productive, inclusive and customer-focused team.

Skills and experience





- At least one year of relevant retail, rapid-food or quick-service restaurant management experience.
- Strong leadership, communication, customer service and staff management skills.
- Experience with rostering, inventory management, sales reporting and cost control.
- Ability to organise multiple priorities in a busy, fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of operational compliance, food safety and workplace safety requirements.
- A relevant qualification in retail, business or hospitality management is desirable.
- Availability to work operational shifts, including weekends and public holidays when required.

Pay: $80,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
