Happy Books Group Pty Ltd is seeking a Part time Bookkeeper to join our team. This is a remote casual position offering flexibility for the right candidate. As a Part-time Bookkeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the smooth operation of our accounting services. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a growing practice whilst maintaining a flexible work schedule that suits your lifestyle.What you'll be doingRecording financial transactions accurately in accounting systems and ledgersProcessing invoices, receipts and expense documents for multiple clientsReconciling bank statements and identifying discrepanciesPreparing preliminary financial reports and statementsManaging accounts payable and accounts receivable functionsData entry and maintenance of client financial recordsAssisting with payroll processing, superannuation and PAYG withholding complianceBAS preparationWorking directly with clients to keep their books accurate and up to date.Supporting the wider accounting team with administrative and bookkeeping duties as requiredWhat we're looking forProven experience working as a bookkeeper or in a similar accounting support roleStrong practical MYOB experience.



Xero experience is beneficial.Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in financial record-keepingSolid understanding of general bookkeeping principles and practicesCompetent with Apple iWork applicationsExcellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple client accountsProfessional communication skills and the ability to work effectively with clients and team membersReliable and trustworthy approach to handling confidential financial informationKnowledge of Australian tax and superannuation requirements is desirableCertificate III or IV in Accounting or Business is highly valued but not essential for experienced candidatesAbout usHappy Books Group Pty Ltd is an established accounting practice dedicated to providing quality bookkeeping and accounting services to small to medium-sized businesses throughout Australia.
