Forty Winks is seeking an experienced Store Manager for our Bundaberg QLD location. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in driving the success and profitability of our store. As Store Manager, you will be responsible for leading a dynamic team, delivering exceptional customer experiences, and achieving sales targets whilst maintaining the highest standards of store operations. This role offers the prospect to make a tangible impact on store performance and contribute to the growth of the Forty Winks brand in the local community.What you'll be doingLeading and motivating a team of sales associates, providing coaching, training and performance management to ensure exceptional service deliveryManaging daily store operations including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and inventory managementDriving sales performance and achieving store targets through strategic planning and effective team leadershipCreating and maintaining a welcoming store environment that reflects Forty Winks' brand standards and visual merchandising guidelinesBuilding and maintaining strong relationships with customers to enhance loyalty and encourage repeat businessManaging stock levels, conducting regular stock takes, and liaising with head office on inventory requirementsResponding to customer enquiries and complaints promptly and professionally to ensure customer satisfactionImplementing company policies and procedures whilst ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and health and safety requirementsAnalysing sales data and reporting on store performance to identify opportunities for improvementRecruiting, onboarding and developing team members to build a high-performing store workforceWhat we're looking forProven experience in a retail management role, preferably in the furniture,



bedding or home furnishings sectorStrong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse teamExcellent sales acumen with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targetsOutstanding customer service orientation with the ability to build lasting customer relationshipsStrong organisational and administrative skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectivelyProficiency in retail management systems and point-of-sale technologyExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalKnowledge of visual merchandising and retail best practicesAbility to work flexibly, including weekends and public holidays as requiredHigh level of integrity, reliability and professional conductPreferably, experience with inventory management systems and data analysisWhat we offerAt Forty Winks, we believe in supporting our employees to succeed.
